The Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse is a nonprofit community arts organization dedicated to promoting public awareness and understanding of traditional music—music that is rooted in and expressive of the great variety of regional, ethnic, and social cultures of peoples throughout the world.
Celebrating our CommunityThere certainly is a lot to celebrate as the Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse kicks off our summer fundraising drive and our 42nd anniversary. This summer we mark our first year in the New Home with August events including our community open house, a jug band festival, the Downtown Berkeley MusicFest, and some truly inspiring performances.
It's the gift of music for everyone. Make a donation today and support 42 years of bringing you the best in traditional and roots music!
