Russia-born New Yorker Alex Kontorovich (clarinet, sax), known for his exuberant "downtown klez-jazz," is a founding member of the award-winning Klez Dispensers. An accordionist/pianist from Buenos Aires, Cesar Lerner co- founded the internationally renowned Klezmer en Buenos Aires in 1995. Martin Lillich, a Berlin-based bassist, first hit the stage playing bass in a blues/rock band in the 1970's and since then never stopped dazzling audiences with his low-end rhythms.
