Elemental siren and evocative songwriter Eda Maxym presents an evening of musical alchemy in celebration of her recent recording, Circle Of Sparks. A powerful torch singer known from her work with global groove ensemble Trance Mission and folk/jazz/world music quintet Beasts of Paradise, Eda applies her tremendous range and versatility to a fusion of alternative country, swamp rock, torch songs, and world grooves. As Thom Jurek of All-Music Guide would have it: "Her voice is one of the most poetic instruments I've heard. Maxym is able to draw from mercurial nuances that lie at the very root of things."

Joining Eda for the evening is the Imagination Club, a stellar gathering of Bay Area musicians including Steve Gibson (co-founder of Bandworks) on guitars, Ed McClary on drums, David Phillips on pedal steel guitar, Joshua Zucker on bass, and Brent Stewart on guitars. Stephen Kent contributes all manner of entertainment, playing didgeridoo, percussion, cello, guitars, and providing meditations, whistles, snorts, irreverent comments, and general mayhem (including playing the cello and didgeridoo at the same time!)
