Traditional Quebecois trio Genticorum packs a punch with its gloriously rich instrumental and vocal arrangements and its upbeat, high-energy performances. Firmly rooted in the soil of their native land, the group's members weave precise and incredibly intricate fiddle and flute work, gorgeous vocal harmonies, energetic foot percussion, and guitar and bass accompaniment into a irresistibly jubilant musical feast that combines raw energy with superb musical refinement.

Winner of the 2011 Canadian Folk Music awards for Ensemble of the Year and Traditional Album of the Year for their recent CD Nagez Rameurs, Genticorum features Pascal Gemme, Alexandre de Grosbois-Garand, and Yann Falquet. The threesome has spent the past decade purveying its impassioned music to audiences all over the world, at more than 700 concerts in 15 countries, including prestigious festivals like Scotland's Celtic Connections, Australia's National Folk Festival, and Celtic Colours in Canada.
