The resident woodwind quintet of the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, the Golden West Woodwind Quartet engages audiences of all ages with their dynamic chamber music performances. With a repertoire ranging from the early 1800s to the present day, these five accomplished musicians perform standards of classical quintet literature and contemporary works, as well as marches and patriotic selections.

Under the direction of Technical Sergeant Anna Andrew, the quintet features Senior Airman Melissa Rocha on flute, Technical Sergeant Coreen Levin on oboe, Technical Sergeant Anna Andrew on clarinet, Master Sergeant Lezlee Masson on bassoon, and Staff Sergeant Edwin Ochsner on French horn.

Recent GWWQ performances include concerts at Portland State University, the Sonora Bach Festival, and California State University at Sacramento. The group is featured on a number of recordings, including Wood ‘n Brass and Bayside Bravura.
