In this gentle introduction to the mysterious regions above the third fret you will learn guitar skills while playing enchanting songs from the '20s through '50s. With just a few chord shapes you will be able to play scads of easy standards and western swing songs. Gradually, you will learn more chords, more songs, and how to make them swing.

Sylvia Herold has taught guitar and song repertoire for more than 20 years. Her performance credits include Cats & Jammers, Wake the Dead, Euphonia, The Hot Club of San Francisco and Sylvia Herold and the Rhythm Bugs.
