This delightful and simple wind instrument is a great favorite for those wanting to get into Celtic music. It is easy to get started on, yet is used for both the shimmering and intricate Irish dance music as well as their profoundly beautiful airs. Learn the basics in a surprisingly simple "old school" way, complete with tunes and embellishments.

Chris has played whistle since 1967, touring and recording throughout North America and Europe. He is also one of the world's finest players and makers of the Celtic harp and a respected performer on the Scottish bagpipes, Irish flute, and the bodhran (Irish frame drum).
