Country star Suzy Bogguss brings a sparkle to our stage with an acoustic solo show spotlighting her strong, supple voice and straightforward style with often-hummed tunes both new and old, including selections from her most recent CD, Sweet Danger.

Born in Illinois, Suzy rose to country stardom in the 1980s and '90s with platinum and gold albums, and hit songs like "Aces," "Drive South," "Someday Soon," and "Outbound Plane." She won the Country Music Association's Horizon Award in 1992 and album of the Year Award in 1994, ASCAP country and pop awards for her songwriting, and in 2005 a Grammy for her contribution to the Best Folk Album, Beautiful Dreamer, the Songs of Stephen Foster. Critically acclaimed collaborations with Chet Atkins, Simpatico, and with Asleep at the Wheel's Ray Benson, Swing, helped build Suzy's reputation as an adventuresome musician with substance and a fiercely independent muse.
