BETTY
BETTY
BETTY is the harmonizing original pop indie band from NYC whose music and activism have won the trio two EMMY's, two BMI Career Excellence Awards, numerous humanitarian awards and the hearts of fans worldwide. For close to thirty years, BETTY has performed legendary live shows, often featuring some of their music from TV (including the popular theme song from The L Word and music from Ugly Betty, Weeds, Love Bites, HBO's Real Sex, Encyclopedia and more), films and commercials. Elizabeth Ziff (vocals, guitar), Alyson Palmer (vocals, bass), and Amy Ziff (vocals, cello) are known for thrilling harmonies, sharp lyrics, edgy and often hilarious banter and nine albums of songs that reflect their passion for life and unceasing commitment to equality, human rights and the empowerment of women and girls. Working with the US Department of State, BETTY proudly represents America as Arts Envoys worldwide, celebrating diversity through ongoing cultural diplomacy and humanitarian tours. Their international concert and workshop series led to the creation of The BETTY Effect, a non-profit organization that supports equal rights, self-advocacy, and empowerment. BETTY's Holiday Show is an annual December event with Special Guests & treats for all.
