Intermediate/Advanced Mandolin
Attention Bay Area Mandolinists! Come join me on Saturday June 23 from 12:00 - 1:30 for my mandolin workshop. We'll explore topics such as learning tunes by ear and how to employ various improvising tools. I’ll also focus on mindfulness and practicing principles that I employ every day which benefit players of all levels and improve your playing and overall music making enjoyment. I look forward to picking some mandolin with you all and hope to see you there!

Pinkham has music in his blood as the great second nephew of A.P. Carter of the legendary Carter Family and great grandson of fiddle master Benny Thomasson. In his own right as a musician, Pinkham has been dubbed “the future of the mandolin” by Mandolin Magazine. He continues to push his craft into new and old territory, excelling in bluegrass, newgrass, jazz and classical music.
