Wee Willie Walker & The Anthony Paule Soul Orchestra
Hailing from San Francisco, CA Wee Willie Walker and the Anthony Paule Soul Orchestra epitomize the time-honored, authentic spirit of American Soul Music. In 2015 they met and made their debut public appearance at the perpetually revered Porretta Soul Festival, in Porretta, Italy. Inspired by their magic of that performance and immediate mutual respect, they agreed to continue working together on a permanent basis.

The group recently released their first recording collaboration, AFTER A WHILE. Much of today’s music seems to be incomplete, as far as honest, emotional vocal expressions are concerned, and the listener is often left needing more. AFTER A WHILE fills that need, and stands alone. Relatable, empathetic songwriting; pure, heart-sung vocals; and supportive, passionate instrumental performances seduce the listener’s ear with unexpected bliss.
Willie Walker
Willie Walker
WEE WILLIE WALKER was a member of the gospel group the Redemption Harmonizers when he left Memphis and headed to Minneapolis in 1960. He defected with a fellow band mate and has kept the Twin Cities his home. Since then his voice has been featured in the Royal Jubileers, Willie & The Bees, The Valdons, Salt, Pepper & Spice, We “R,” the Butanes and along side Paul Metsa as well many other performances with the Twin Cities blues and soul contingency. On subsequent visits back to Memphis in the 60s, Willie’s reputation landed him recording dates with the legendary Goldwax Records. He cut nine sides there and Goldwax leased four of them to Checker Records, a subsidiary of Chess Records.

Willie brought Memphis to Minneapolis. His carefree attitude is true South. His voice can be placid as the Mississippi backwaters or it can churn up the mud from its greatest depths. And it all comes so naturally for the man.

Terrie Odabi
Terrie Odabi
“Terrie Odabi is easily the most dynamic blues and soul woman to have emerged in the Bay Area since Etta James came out of San Francisco’s Fillmore District in the Fifties. Terrie has a powerful set of pipes, writes terrific tunes, leads a kicking band and has onstage movements that perfectly match the rhythms of her material. Surely stardom awaits her.”

-Lee Hildebrand, contributor to the *San Francisco Chronicle, *East Bay News Group and *Living Blues Magazine"

Few vocalists own the stage like Terrie Odabi. When the statuesque Oakland native begins to sing, a hush falls over the audience. They’re about to take a ride through the highs and lows of soul music, led by a beautiful singer who packs her shows with heart-pumping energy and poignant memories. Whether it’s opening for Average White Band or Lenny Williams, or performing at the Concord Pavilion or the Fillmore Jazz Festival, Terrie’s finely honed instrument is matched by her generous spirit and wit.
