When country music meets LGBTQ choral singers, the result is Dollylicious! An homage to the iconic Dolly Parton, Dollylicious! is a delicious collection of her most legendary songs. You won’t want to miss the Oakland Gay Men’s Chorus belting out “Jolene” or tenderly crooning “I Will Always Love You.” This show will entertain everyone, even your friends who don’t like good ol’ country music!
Oakland Gay Men's Chorus
The Oakland Gay Men’s Chorus is a 50-voice gay men’s chorus that performs a wide variety of music, from classical to Broadway, in three seasonal and numerous church, community, and outreach performances every year. Founded in 1999 by Dick Kramer, the OGMC is the most active and well known gay arts organization in the East Bay. Centrally located in Oakland, the chorus serves many communities, with members from all around the Bay Area lifting their voices together to entertain and inspire.
After a raucous off-Broadway run of MOOD SWINGS at The Triad Theater in New York City, Leanne Borghesi made her Jazz at Lincoln Center debut October 2018 as a featured vocalist for The 29th Annual Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention in New York. She is ecstatic to announce she will be making her Carnegie Hall Debut on May 21st. A vibrant actress and vocalist specializing in performance with Jazz ensembles, Big Bands, comedic ‘theatrical cabarets.’ and swingin’ club acts in New York and San Francisco, Leanne’s shows blend the magic of theater/cabaret with the passion of Broadway, vaudeville and burlesque. Her vivacious and robust vocals and performance styles are interactive making each performance unique, personal, and full of surprises.
